Duties
Incumbent unloads and stores furniture and supplies at the Embassy warehouse. Incumbent moves non-expendable items among offices and residences as needed, delivers furniture, all appliances, A/C units, generators and bottled gas to residences and offices. Reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and indirectly to the Property Management Supervisor.
Delivers furniture, appliances, A/C units, generators and other non-expendable supplies as approved by the GSO to offices and residences. Assembles furniture and equipment prior to delivery as needed. Assists in selecting appropriate furniture and matching of styles and fabrics. (55%)

Reports to Warehouse Supervisor any problems with the warehouse and its contents and with non-expendable property issued. Delivers, assembles and disassembles party supply items to include large tents. Arranges, cleans and assists in inventory of items in storage room 158, containers and any other storage area outside the embassy compound. Moves non-expendable items within and among offices and residences as directed by GSO. (25%)
Assists in arranging items for sale or disposal. Arranges furniture and other supplies on shelves in the warehouse. Keeps the warehouse clean and organized in order to promptly and safely obtain and deliver requested items. Take part in weekly control and delivery of cooking gas and keep accurate record for eventual billing. (15%)
Unloads and stores supplies, furniture, equipment etc… upon arrival at the Embassy warehouse. Assists the Receiving Clerk to open and check quantities and condition of cartons or boxes. Operates small forklift as needed. Assist in annual inventory as well as check-in and check-out inventories. Assists with the assembly of office furniture and cubicles. (5%)

Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Six months experience as a warehouseman in a diplomatic mission, an international organization, large local institution or as a contractor is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must be able to know locations of various items in warehouse and able to recognize items from oral or written descriptions or sight.Education Requirements:
Completion of Elementary School is required.Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Level II (Limited Knowledge) English and French (speaking and understanding only) ability is required. This will be tested.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to perform moderately heavy work and make heavy lifts at times. This will be tested.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Yaounde, Cameroon may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.
For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.
